I have seen far too many people get uncomfortable with an odd person, so much so that they feel unsafe and call authorities. Being weird is not a crime, though. There are individuals who suffer from mental illnesses that are untreated due to lack of health insurance and adequate medical care. Next time you are in a public place, and you see a person acting “strange,” remember that they are a person too. They matter too. They need love just the same as you do.
