Featuring the incredible Cattail Silk from Purl Soho (one of my favorite yarns!), the colors in this scarf remind me of a dusty Santa Fe afternoon. I can smell the piñon smoke and taste the margarita when I look at this one.

From Snarkist Fiber Arts Creator- Jeffery Payne
Having been a knitter from an early age, I was always fascinated with the textures and flexibility that weaving brought and finally decided to take the plunge. I acquired my first loom from from my local yarn store in 2017. It has become one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.
I find weaving to be meditative, an act of reflection and creativity, it is a distillation of a contemplation and intent. Possibilities take form to create a whole with creativity and perseverance. Sometimes the pieces seem to be anthropomorphic, having a life of their own by making themselves. Anyway, these are the stories I tell myself while in my craft.
